We are committed to our mission to improve lives because, every day, we witness the enormous impact of our efforts on the world around us.Job SummaryThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer will rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with minimal supervision and will use cross-functional leadership, technical knowledge and communication skills to launch new products and improve profitability on existing products in manufacturing areas.

• Identify and implement manufacturing projects which improve facility efficiency, reduce scrap, and/or improve product quality in order to contain and/or decrease costs. These include capital and WCM inspired projects.
• Manage teams of employees in focused areas of productivity improvement.
• Interact with the leadership of the affected departments to ensure the effective implementation of systematic changes.
• Perform various facility improvement projects assisting building maintenance and 5-S efforts.
• Work with production supervision and operators to resolve immediate manufacturing problems on the shop floor.
• Originate and update manufacturing and engineering documentation including procedures, specifications, drawings and train personnel for the implementation of these procedures.Is this job for you?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
  • Master's Degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • 7+ years Progressive engineering experience (required)
  • Excellent analytical skills, hands-on approach, proactive safety approach and sense of urgency in problem solving required. Knowledge of CNC lathes and mills processes and programming. Ability to read blueprints and do FMEA & PFMEA analysis (required)
  • Familiarity with MRP system(s) like SAP/QAD (required)
  • 5+ years Machining/Toolroom experience (preferred)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $89,500 to $138,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,240 to $155,120. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.Employees have the flexibility to choose the benefits that best fit their individual needs.
