Volt is immediately hiring for Centerless Grinders & Grind Operators in Garden Grove, CA



*** Fast Growing/ Great Company Culture/ Overtime***



As a Centerless Grinders & Grind operators you will:

Review router to determine setup, tooling and specifications of parts
Ability to select and place abrasive grind wheel and make appropriate adjustments
Perform set-up and operation of machines effectively and within specified time frames
Provide information for Inspector evaluation and validation of quality
Meet quality, production and re-work targets in assigned work area by inspecting parts during production to ensure they are produced to required dimension s and conform to all specifications.
Utilization of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as needed
Utilization of AIC Job Clock System as needed
Adhere to all AIC company policies
Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to verbally communicate effectively.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
Ability to read and interpret router instructions and specifications.
Properly use calipers, micrometers, comparators, microscopes and other gauge measuring tools.



Pay Rate:

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
