Job Title: Senior AccountantWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Arete. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining our financial records with precision and compiling and analyzing financial data with the utmost accuracy.Key Responsibilities:

• Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain control of accounts and records in areas such as disbursements, revenue, expenses, fixed assets, equity transactions, tax payments, and income.
• Comply and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, review, and verify accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements and other accounting schedules and reports.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in increasingly responsible accounting positions.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects).
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop, evaluate, and implement solutions.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
    • Effective verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial control processes.
    • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
    • In-depth experience and working knowledge of automated accounting systems.What We Offer:
