As a Senior Software Engineer at Bezel, you'll be working alongside other passionate individuals to apply cutting-edge solutions in developing modern and polished applications. Together, the products we build will change the way the world shops for watches.As a senior member of the engineering team, you'll not only have ownership of core architecture and design decisions, but you'll also be integral in defining the engineering culture at the company as we scale.What You'll Do:

• Build out core APIs, services, and frameworks that power Bezel products
• Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks as Bezel products scale
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows integral to product functionality and daily operations
• Manage projects and solve problems of significant scope, cutting across organizational boundaries
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization such as product, operations, and marketing leadsYou Should Apply If You:
  • Have a strong technical background, including experience building backend services in Java and querying data with SQL
  • Have experience working with cloud computing platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Have experience working in ecommerce, particularly two-sided marketplaces
  • Take pride in designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and systems at scale
  • Enjoy tackling hard problems and seeing their solutions through to the end
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

    • Backend: Java + JAX-RS, Ruby + Rails, MySQL, and Elasticsearch
    • Frontend: TypeScript + Next.js / Angular, Swift + UIKit
    • Infrastructure: Docker and Jetty / NGINX on Google Cloud
